As the global Covid-19 pandemic had cast outer life into a frozen state, a series of photographs emerged out of a state of heightened introspection and perception.

Retrospectively, these pieces can be seen to document a subtle blurring of the “real” — as experienced by a young and restless imagination cast back upon itself, in the context of a collectively enforced isolation. During this time, meaningful inspiration was drawn from 20th century avantgarde movements, especially surrealism.
